Much of the antique wood of the century-old joglo. It was once the home of a Javanese nobleman that was used. This can be seen throughout Villa Oost Indies in the form of wooden partitions and recycled wood floors. Yet, the 21st century takes hold with all the modern conveniences, from air conditioning to flat-screen TVs and DVD players in the bedrooms, monsoon showers in the bathrooms, and the amenities of a fully equipped high-tech kitchen.
